Summary
This command is part of a set of new Mail Flow commands that can be used to control mailflow in Exchange 2013.
“The Front End Transport service runs on all Client Access servers and acts as a stateless proxy for all inbound and outbound external SMTP traffic for the Exchange organization. The Front End Transport service only communicates with the Hub Transport service on a Mailbox server, and doesn’t queue any messages locally.”

Notes
It is interesting to note that if you do a Get-Help on the ‘Set-TeamMailbox’ there is text in the help about the command that says that this command has been deprecated even thought this command did not exist in Exchange Server 2010. My theory is that this might relate to the ‘Set-SiteMailbox’ command maybe will be the final command when Exchange Server 2013 is released.
