Hi Damian, I am banging my head trying to get a 2003 to 2010 migration to function properly.
I am at a point where I have exchange 2010 installed on a brand new 2008 server and have moved a single mailbox from 2003 to 2010. In this case it is the Administrator mailbox.
I can sent email from the Admin account via OWA to external recipients but cannot send internally or recieve email from internal or external sources.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
cheers,
jim
Jim,
Did you create the Routing Group Connectors? Something like this -http://blog.mattsampson.net/index.php/how-to-setup-a-routing-group-connector-between-exchange-2003-and-2010?blog=1… If you already have it, then you may need to remove and recreate the Routing Group Connectors – http://www.interactivewebs.com/blog/index.php/server-tips/troubles-with-exchange-2010-and-exchange-2003-routing-group-connector/. Please reply if you need any further help.

Hi Damian,
I like your DG Cleanup Script posted in November. Wondered if there is a way to get it to look at all email addresses, not just the primary SMTP. From what I’ve been reading, the relatedrecipient will only look at primary, not ALL the SMTP addresses…THoughts?

Hey Man,
did you had performance problems withe the calener of Outlook 2007, too?! I a hve this problem, since i migrated a Exchange 2003, to 2010 and finally to Exchange 2013!
Cheers, Benjamin
Hi Damien – in this article http://www.powershellgeek.com/2018/08/24/slow-mailbox-moves-in-exchange-2016/ you say to create throttling policies. Do you assign the throtting policy to the user you are migrating or the user you are using to migrate?
Apologies on the delayed response, but the Throttling policy is applied to all users being moved. This is also specific to on-premises migrations. Hope that helps.
Hi Damian,
About your Exchange Prerequisite Scripts for 2019. If I want to migrate my Windows 2019 server that is running Exchange 2019 can I use this script or do I need to look for something else?
Thanks,
Hi Damian,
I just came across your Exchange prerequisites script and absolutely loved it. I THINK however that the SSL V3.0 check is not functioning properly?
I have changed this line:
If( $SSL30RegistryPath.Enabled -eq ‘0’) {
to this:
If( $RegistryPath.Enabled -eq ‘0’) {
And I believe it is OK now, hope I am right. Again, loved the script, thank you for your hard work.
Dimitris, thanks for the catch on that code. Surprise I never noticed that one. Will get it up to date soon.
