Well, it’s complete. The book that Dave and I started working on almost a year and a half ago. I think this is probably the biggest project I’ve ever undertaken in my IT career. Writing blog articles for various Exchange and Office 365 topics is one thing. To write a book that exceeds 400 pages is quite a different task.
In the end, I think the book does what we wanted it to do – provide beginning to intermediate PowerShell users a way to learn scripting, while learning to manage Exchange 2016. A lot of the skills and topics learned can easily be used outside of Exchange. In fact, I use the same techniques described in the book whether I need to manage Exchange Online, Azure AD or Active Directory. If I can write PowerShell code for a system, I can eventually write a script to manage that system.
